India vs Bangladesh T20 World Cup 35th Match Preview:

KL Rahul’s stretch of three single-digit scores has everyone buzzing. But don’t dismiss him as an out-of-sorts player just yet. Rahul’s previous two T20 World Cup innings were both fifties against South Africa. The primary concern is his 2022 stats in comparison to the rest of his T20I career. He has the lowest average and strike rate in a year, but Rahul might be one huge hit away from turning the corner.

After playing a significant part in each of those matches for Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed has now won two Player-of-the-Match accolades in this competition. In Brisbane, his double smashes off the first two balls broke the Netherlands’ back, while his three timely strikes held back a furious Zimbabwe. Taskin, who made his T20I debut in the 2014 World Cup, is making up for a lost time after a three-year absence. With his haul of wickets since last year, he has now assumed the position of bowling attack leader.

In the match against South Africa, Dinesh Karthik left the field with what seemed to be a lower back injury. On the eve of the match, he batted in Adelaide’s indoor nets and went through a ‘keeping exercise.’ Dravid stated that a decision on him will be made dependent on how he pulls up the morning of the match. If he is not totally fit, India has a direct replacement in Rishabh Pant. In addition, India took the tactical decision to replace Axar Patel, a batting all-rounder, with Deepak Hooda, a bowling all-rounder, in bowler-friendly conditions. With four lefties in Bangladesh’s starting lineup, they may want to keep him. Bangladesh can declare that it is in good health, and all 15 are open for selection.

Shakib Al Hasan Says:  “India are the favorites. They’ve come here to win the World Cup. We’re not favorites and we didn’t come here to win the World Cup. You can understand the situation. We know it very well, if we win against India, it’ll be called an upset. We’ll try to play our best cricket and try to make an upset.”
